Insurance

Clear Vision Clinic accepts Medicare and most major insurance plans, including:

  • Commercial: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arkansas (True Blue, Health Advantage HMO, First Source PPO), UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Ambetter, QualChoice, 6 Degrees Health, and Arkansas Municipal League
  • Medicare Advantage: Aetna Medicare/Advantra, WellCare by Allwell, Cigna Medicare/HealthSpring, Humana Medicare Advantage, and BCBS Medicare Advantage
  • Networks: Connect Benefit, Excel Health/Vantos, HealthChoice of Oklahoma, Ozark Health Plan (Key Benefits), Sharp, Three Rivers Provider Network/Contigo Health, and Zelis
  • Workers' compensation: CorVel and Coventry

We do not currently accept Medicaid or see patients under 16 years of age. We do not accept vision insurance plans, and we do not accept new strabismus or amblyopia referrals. If your patient's plan isn't listed, please call or text us at 479-425-3541 before scheduling and we'll check coverage.

A Quick Note on Location

Clear Vision Clinic is now open, and Dr. Covey sees all of her patients at 1651 E Stearns St, Ste 110, Fayetteville. Patients with existing appointments simply come to the new location — the appointment itself doesn't change. Medical records and imaging have transferred automatically, so there's nothing extra your office or your patient needs to do.

Co-Management

Your patient stays your patient.

Patients referred for cataract surgery return to their referring optometrist for postoperative and ongoing primary eye care whenever appropriate.

We built Clear Vision Clinic around a referral-based model — we're not trying to become your patient's full-time eye care home. We handle the surgical and medical retina/glaucoma care that requires a specialist, and your patients come back to you for their glasses, contacts, and ongoing primary eye care.

Clear Vision Clinic can exchange patient care summaries (CCDAs) electronically through secure Direct messaging. To send one from your EHR, use our Direct address:

This address works only from a Direct-enabled EHR, not regular email. Sending and receiving CCDAs this way also helps both of our practices meet MIPS Promoting Interoperability requirements.
